This handcrafted necklace features a striking replica of an 1883 United States Trade Dollar, thoughtfully reimagined as a wearable statement piece. Originally minted for trade with East Asia, the historic coin design is brought to life here as a 2-inch round pendant made from antique silver-plated brass.
Each piece is individually designed and handmade in my studio, set in a gold-plated brass rope-etched bezel that highlights the intricate details of the coin. The pendant is paired with a modern paperclip-style chain link necklace and finished with a secure round lobster clasp closure.
